6 Practical ways to take your yoga practice ‘off the mat’ and into your everyday life

Online: Sunday 11th April 2021
09:00 - 10:30 UK (UTC+1)

We finish our yoga class, get those post chilled vibes, step off the mat and BOOM - real life hits. The chilled vibes go and we soon forget how calm we were feeling. The thought of being told to find stillness and connect with your breath makes you want to scream! Sound familiar?

But, are you content with just having those calm feelings whilst you're on your mat or do you wish you could keep them with you for the rest of your day - maybe even the rest of the week?

During this workshop I will take you through 6 ways that yoga can be taken off the mat and into your everyday life.

We also take part in a gentle yoga practice. Perfect for those moments when life gets a little overwhelming or you need to move but have limited time or space.

Here’s just some of the highlights that we’ll be discussing:

- How you can use the strength and flexibility you gain through yoga in order to face some of life's challenges
- How staying present off the mat can help make you more connected and patient with those around you
- How we can use our yoga practice to notice behaviour patterns and make conscious changes towards finding the right balance in life
- And how observing your breath really can help you come back to that place of calm

No yoga experience needed - we all start somewhere - and if you are on day one - i’ll meet you on the start line.

“Thank you for a great workshop. I’m not a great fan of journalling as, but I enjoyed Sunday as it wasn’t too much & we had the preparation time. I always like meditation & yin so that’s great! I hope that you are able to do another one soon.”
